Adaptive Tactics is a Might virtue in Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Summary

Adaptive Tactics is a very effective tool for the combat oriented player; while early Might virtues increased strength, this virtue will grant long-term increases in upgrade speed. This upgrade will allow for the quicker deployment of more advanced units, and can make a smaller, more effective army possible in the fact of larger, less trained enemies. While this has only passing effect on the alien lifeforms, allowing for quicker upgrades in technology and abilities can outstrip the upgrade speed possessed by the aliens, making your army more powerful and allowing for quick, efficient extermination.
