Stations replace City-States from previous games in Beyond Earth.

Replacing the previous game's City-States, Stations are single tile businesses with no allegiance or attachment to civilizations. These stations can only trade with a single faction at a time; what they trade can change according to your influence over them and proximity. Below is a list of known stations.
|Aspera Station||This station provides +3 Food and +1 Culture to any city which it trades with.|
|Adept Blue||Adept Blue increases Science output, and has a small chance of granting a random technology.|

|Fort Miller||A military station which trades siege units to its trading partner,|
|Fort Barca||Provides +5 Energy and +5 Production to any city with an established trade route.|

|Lalibela||Provides +4 (Tier 1)/+6 (Tier 2)/+10 (Tier 3) Culture to any city with an established trade route.|

Stations have various rules which limit their activities, placement, and effectiveness.
• Station start turn base is set to 20
• Station minimum allowed distance to another station is 2 tiles
• Station minimum allowed distance to a city is 6 tiles
• Station minimum allowed distance to an outpost is 5 tiles
