Stations replace City-States from previous games in Beyond Earth.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Replacing the previous game's City-States, Stations are single tile businesses with no allegiance or attachment to civilizations. These stations can only trade with a single faction at a time; what they trade can change according to your influence over them and proximity. Below is a list of known stations.

Aspera Station This station provides +3 Food.png Food and +1 Culture.png Culture to any city which it trades with.
Adept Blue Adept Blue increases Science.png Science output, and has a small chance of granting a random technology.
Banu Musa Theoretical Sciences Think Tank Little is known about Banu Musa Theoretical Sciences Think Tank at this time.
Fort Miller A military station which trades siege units to its trading partner,
Fort Barca Provides +5 Energy.png Energy and +5 Production.png Production to any city with an established trade route.
Golden Bell Temple Little is known about Golden Bell Temple at this time.
Lalibela Provides +4 Culture.png(Tier 1)/+6 Culture.png(Tier 2)/+10 Culture.png(Tier 3) Culture to any city with an established trade route.
McDonough Biomedical Research Lab Little is known about McDonough Biomedical Research Lab at this time.
New Babylon Provides +4 Culture.png Culture to any city with an established trade route.
Palatine Palatine is a resort which focuses on cogno-emotional renewal, which can benefit officials, military leaders, and executives alike.

Station Rules[edit | edit source]

Stations have various rules which limit their activities, placement, and effectiveness. • Station start turn base is set to 20
• Station minimum allowed distance to another station is 2 tiles
• Station minimum allowed distance to a city is 6 tiles
• Station minimum allowed distance to an outpost is 5 tiles
